Basic description of the current factions in the game.[/center]
GUARDSMEN
Heroes, the good guys that are either second timers or those just signing up. If you’re planning on joining the Guardsmen, you belong here. A Guardsmen is a individual who has taken the vow to protect their city and her people no matter how small or big a crime. It is also a requirement that you keep your identity a secret from civilians, costumes are required but not necessary to join, however you will need a mask. The Guardsmen will not be accepting anyone under the age of 16 and dangerous missions will only be assigned to those older then 20. If you’re new, don’t seek out the Guardsmen, they will find you.
Status: A couple of leader needed, open positions
VILLAINS
Are you evil or evil influenced? Do you rub your hands menacingly and cackle? If so, that doesn’t necessarily make you a villain. Do you rob banks, beat up old ladies or just steal candy from a baby while wearing a mask and costume, then you’re classified as a villain. Villains don’t care who and what age you are. Some have teamed together while many work alone.
Status: Various leaders needed but not required, open positions
INDEPENDENTS
Independents are simply those that do no affiliate with the Guardsmen or are a villain. Basically if you work for yourself/on your own, you’re classified as a independent. You can be good, bad or even neutral.

THE JEZEBEL GIRLS
The Jezebel Girls are as deadly as they are beautiful. A group of self-governing prostitutes stationed in Manhattan near Times Square. They originated in the early 1920’s when the local women without men in their lives banded together to form a prostitution quarter where they were able to rule with absolute authority becoming today’s Jezebel Girls. They’ve grown into a overwhelming gang in the red light district and have caused trouble with the local police force.
Status: Open positions
THE MALLEY BOYS
An Irish brigade of former IRA (Irish Republican Army) terrorists and mercenaries, the Malley Boys were founded in 1959 lead by Declan O’Malley and his sons. Today, the gang has lax it’s rules and allowed non family to join and occasionally lead. Made of mostly men, few women are allowed to join and even fewer can stand it. They reside in Brooklyn and not to be confused with the every day skinhead.
Status: Leader needed, open positions
THE MANNINO CRIME FAMILY
The undisputed heads of New York’s Cosa Nostra and NYC’s truest example of a Mafia style with organized crime. They control a better part of Queens and have started to reach slowly into the Jezebel Girl’s neighborhood. To go against the Mannino family is to wish death upon yourself, family and neighbors.
Status: Open, family members only
CIVILIANS
Civilians cover everyone who is not one of the above. A normal regular person. This covers citizens, government, police force, and even normal criminals. Yes, even the cute waitress down the street at the diner.
Status: Always open
At this time we will not accepting new factions until we get a good decent amount to the above.
